Elections

The board election committee is constituted by Ioannis Zervantonakis (ioz1@pitt.edu) and Costas Arvanitis (costas.arvanitis@gatech.edu) who are not candidates for the board. 

 

 

Each HBAUSA member will receive a secure email link to submit their unique vote through the association’s elections-host, smartsurvey.com, which will divert to a unique e-ballot page for voting. 

 

Each member can vote for up to 7 candidates (seven positions: President, Vice-President, General Secretary, Treasurer, Appointed Secretary, Councilor #1, Councilor #2). Every e-ballot can only be generated once.

 

Following 12/16/2024 the elections committee will communicate the results to the candidates and the candidate with the majority of votes will setup a teleconference within 1 month. In this teleconference,  the positions on the board will be discussed and will be decided by a vote among the seven board members, following a nomination procedure starting by the candidate with most votes from all HBAUSA members.
